A comment on Talk: David Pogue: 10 top time-saving tech tips

Apr 26 2013: David Pogue is about breaking down technology for humans. I remember his first TALK where I talked about how smart phones calculate number of clicks to make sure you reach your menu of interest in less click than ever. It is true there was at least one thing in this talk that I discovered new- The voicemail message skipping magic.
Talking about softwares: I am 24 year old and 3 years ago when I decided to come to USA I started teaching my parents emailing and skype. However, few months later skype upgraded and my mom is like- this is amazing-I still have to click only call button next to your name. We tried some other video calling softwares, but it has never been that easy. The best part - I didn't teach them this one, but they are friends with me on Facebook which ensures at least two likes on everything I post. I was never a huge fan of Facebook's layout and their constant effort to change the interface just when to start to getting comfortable. But the fact that my parents can use it use intuitively makes me wonder about its power.
