About Me

Emily Leach is a visionary in using technology to expand business reputations, visibility and innovation. She’s a trained administrator in Information Systems, skilled in both Web Design and Internet Marketing Best Practices, as well as the Founder of the SEO Strategy Group. As a combined result of her expertise, skills and experience, she is an advocate for business owners in their SEO strategy development and proactive training. Even more, she is known as a leading-edge licensee, organizer and speaker for TEDx events in Albuquerque, NM and Corpus Christi, TX.

The sum total of her achievements and talents have led her to pioneering yet another concept that, while still emerging, is proving to be the growing edge of a unique population – that of the ‘genetically unemployable’. These people feel encoded to go beyond conventional jobs and create businesses from unique vantage points and perspectives. This is the focus of her recent work in development, for which a book and several products are in process.

More About Me

I'm passionate about

Developing ideas. Change starts with an idea, without the support of believers they die on the vine ... sharing them breathes in life and possibility.

An idea worth spreading

Not everyone is cut out to be an employee, teaching society to embrace this fact will not only help people accept themselves and give them the emotional support to dream but this group of people can change our economic landscape. The soloprenuer working from a home office is the new economic base small cities across America will need to survive, the faster we embrace this group the better off we will all be.

Talk to me about

what is on your mind, I like to hear it all because there is value in it.

People don't know that I'm good at

sign language, I absolutely love the language.

My TED Story

I heard about TED at an Ignite event in Albuquerque, NM December 14, 2009. The next year I started attending a couple small meetups and really enjoyed the conversations and views of this group of people ... later that spring I decided volunteer for the TEDxABQ 2010 event and ended up being a lead organizer, and stayed on for 2011. We are now heading in to the planning for 2012 and am also looking at starting up an event Corpus Christi, TX to help share and foster ideas within a depressed economic area that has huge potential ... and the place I call home.
