Learning as much as possible, Experiencing as much of it as possible, and helping others to do the same.
That we as a community need to push our society toward a future that works for 100% of humanity. We are slowly moving in that direction as more individuals experience a paradigm shift. Guidance, support and acceleration are needed to achieve critical mass. One area that needs to be focused on is large scale renewable energy with transmission. It is the answer to many problems we face on a local and global scale.

I came across TED via Randy Pausch's Last Lecture in '08... I was hooked from the start. I would watch talks at lunch while sitting at my desk..day in day out. In college I had always said, when asked what I wanted to do with my life, "i want to work with people" and " I want to come up with better ways of doing things." TED is the perfect mixture of these elements. Having experience in conferences and events I joined a TEDx team when i moved to california. It has been one of the better experiences in my life and to be honest, i've had some great experiences :) I can't wait to see what is down the road...
