A reply on Talk: Carl Schoonover: How to look inside the brain

May 21 2012: Who's purpose should we believe in, Dan? What hypotheses would that lead to? What happens if we change what we believe about the designer? Science is best used to look for natural explanations for things. That doesn't presuppose that there is no designer, nor that there is a designer. The neutral position is most useful for our experiments to really have explanatory power. There are many scientists who are people of faith. That doesn't mean that they will or should look for design. Look for answers and explanations, not evidence to back up your biases and preconceived notions.

A reply on Talk: David Christian: The history of our world in 18 minutes

May 21 2012: Jackson, no 18 minute talk is able to give all of the information on any particular topic. Have you read anything that deals with the physics theories that relate to the Big Bang? If not, do a little research before you call something fiction. If you are just looking to start a religion vs. science war, please look elsewhere.

A reply on Talk: David Christian: The history of our world in 18 minutes

May 21 2012: His reference to the asteroid isn't about the start of life. Rather, it is about the wiping out of the dinosaurs and how that gave mammals (which humans are) the opportunity to become more diverse and dominant. Had the dinosaurs not been wiped out, the ancestors of humans may have never arisen.
