My TED Story

My TED experience starting during the summer going into my second year of college. Before then I was unaware of TED and TED Talks. Professor Thomas Eppel used them throughout his course and ever since then I have not stopped watching. One of my friends also began watching TED talks around the same time at Semester and Sea and when she came back she became aware of the TEDx program and wanted to start it on our campus. In 2011-2012 we had our first TEDx event and now for 2012-2013 I am the official license holder, something which I would have never imagined. It is a pleasure for me to share with my community something that has helped change my life for the better.
