Sep 10 2011: Yes, your point is not clear, what past did he describe to be considered not true?
He is making the case of the history of India from the point of view of the Pakistani, Indian and English. The history is represented very differently and it is important we know all points of view.
Nov 16 2010: I can't agree with the definition of "silver bullet" but I like some of the ideas he presented. It is true that the computer allows to go further and deeper, but we never have to forget to use our brain as the primary tool of 'thinking'. Most of the time we tend to relax ourself and blindly believe in the computer, that's how my classmate resolved the problem of physics with the traing going 100000 Km per hour! I believe we need to develop both aspects, mental or hand based math and computer based math. In that sense, I agree with Wolfram, programming is the best tool to achieve the latter.
