Carl P. Haney
Executive Vice President, Global Research and Development, Corporate Product Innovation, Package Development The Estée Lauder Companies. Carl previously worked more than 25+ years at Procter & Gamble (P&G), holding increasingly senior leadership innovation positions and most recently was Vice President, R&D for Gillette, Braun, Global Grooming and Devices.
Raised in Venezuela, Carl moved to the United States, graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy and attended Vanderbilt University, where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Carl's philanthropic priority is education and he is passionate about democratizing education, investing in youth, and supporting El Sistema Abreu Fellows. Carl believes in the power of ideas and spends his spare time re-thinking renewable energy, producing "movies that matter", understanding glycobiology, and learning how to digitize everything. Carl has lived and worked in Latin America, Europe, and in USA, and currently lives in Newton, Massachusetts with his wife Ani Najar, and children Nicole, Maya, and Carlos.
