About Me

Award winning inventor, designer, and innovation development executive Adrian Chernoff transforms innovation and creativity into commercial reality. He is a proven leader in the development and introduction of incremental and radical innovations. Among his credits: Adrian has designed theme park rides at Walt Disney Imagineering, advised tech startups at Sandia and Los Alamos National Laboratories, worked as a robotics engineer at NASA, and was the Chief Architect on the Reinvention of the Automobile program at General Motors.

At General Motors his work earned him the title of Master Inventor and he was awarded their coveted Chairman’s Honors Award for his leadership and pioneering efforts in creating, developing, and executing the world’s first ever “skateboard car” —a zero-emission, hydrogen-fueled car propelled by wheel hub motors and electronic controls.

He has been responsible for spearheading new developments, projects and programs involving new ventures, new products, and new businesses where risk and an ability to adapt are balanced. He has managed and overseen innovation and exploration projects programs for Diageo, Alcoa, and Magna International and at vehicle design studio Stile Bertone in Italy, at product design and branding development firm Design Continuum in Boston, at technology development house Applied Minds in Los Angeles, and at marketing and product innovation firm Fahrenheit 212 in New York.

Adrian has 76 awarded patents in addition to 48 pending applications. As a result, he has been a frequent guest speaker on the subject of innovation at auto shows in Paris and across North American, as well as at colleges, universities, and the TED conferences in Monterrey, California.

Currently Adrian is the Chief Creative Officer at Ideation Genesis. His inventive mind, creativity, and commercial acumen transform notions into realities and inspirations into innovations in the creation of strategies, products, and businesses.

Adrian has an MBA, a Masters in Science in Manufacturing Engineering, and a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering.
