Exponential technologies, science communication, modern public education and inspiration

People don't know that I'm good at

Writing and visualizing concepts

My TED Story

I started my TED journey when I did my exchange year in Madrid 2009-2010. I remember the long nights when I first discovered the power and wonder of ideas worth spreading.

A comment on Talk: Regina Dugan: From mach-20 glider to humming bird drone

Mar 28 2012: As a response to this talk I would encourage everyone to watch Malcolm Gladwells talk on the consequences of the increasing sophistication of military technology and the "things we make". It is perhaps a food for thought and provides some valuable insights to the "other sida of the coin". http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/en/malcolm_gladwell.html

A comment on Talk: Michael Nielsen: Open science now!

Nov 23 2011: I found this talk extremely interesting. We’ve developed a generic platform that makes it easy for researchers to initiate research-based problems and invite colleagues around the world to contribute, very similar to the polymath project except one does not need a blog for this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=_Pig8UAMSk8#!). Instead a question-based research problem can be initiated by anyone who works on a publicly funded research project. Please visit http://www.sparklingscience.com – We would like everyone in the open science movement to try our soon-to-be-finished beta. Maybe this could help spark a cultural shift and ultimately a new open science revolution.

I’m also arranging TEDxVasastan in Stockholm the 13th of February. The theme is “The things we make – and beyond”. See http://www.tedxvasastan.se – Michael! you're more than welcome to apply. Our first speaker is Gustav Borgefalk who works with the team on matternet.org
