A comment on Talk: Ian Ritchie: The day I turned down Tim Berners-Lee

Oct 12 2011: This talk makes me think back to the sheer giddiness I had when I compiled my first Mosaic web browser for AIX on an IBM RS6000. Back then it was all text and having an image in a web page was a multimedia extravaganza. Now here we are, watching videos on TED.com.

Here is a great article from Ars Technica that appeared just the other day:

A comment on Talk: A robot that flies like a bird

Jul 22 2011: Here's a video of the SmartBird in flight at the TEDGlobal 2011 picnic. The other seagulls didn't know what to think:

  • A reply on Talk: Bill Gates on energy: Innovating to zero!

    Feb 18 2010: Hi Rob,

Sorry for the inconvenience. We discovered that we had an error in the URL for the video file late this afternoon. I'm not entirely sure how the wordpress plugin works but my guess is that you'll have to remove that tag from your post and then re-add it. I'm hoping that it will then grab the updated (corrected) embed code. Let me know if this doesn't solve the issue and we'll pursue further (george - at - ted.com)

    Thanks

A reply on Talk: Ray Anderson: The business logic of sustainability

    May 18 2009: Hi Donald,

Try adding "googleapis.com" to your trusted domains. That should take care of the issue for you.
