I'm passionate about the arts, namely Graphic Design, Film, Photography, and Music. I love life and being alive. My only goal in life is to reach a point where another human is inspired by me.

An idea worth spreading

As I watched the talks and read more about the conference I was left wishing I could be there. Realizing that for someone of my age and monetary standing it would be difficult to make that happen, I yearned for a way I could interact with speakers and others that shared my passions and interests. My idea is that TED go on the road. Travel the country (and world) with some speakers to universities, schools, and other places of learning to REALLY spread the ideas of the conference. This came to me because as I went to my friends and others I knew and asked the question; "Do you know about TED?" The common response was "I don't know anyone named TED". This saddened me because I feel the ideas talked about here are the ideas to change the world. Also, they are ideas that matter, not just sports statistics or reality tv scenarios. This is the stuff the future is made of and I wish it was more accessible and affordable to INTERACT and not just watch on the internet. My 2 cents. Thanks.
