  • More about me

  • I'm passionate about

Thinking about thinking, Designing our future, Designing competitive business models, Help people turn their passion into profitable businesses, connecting the dots.

  • An idea worth spreading

The current business environment and employment market is the perfect environment for taking the risk and try making a living our of our passion. Instead of making a low salary working in a job that does not fulfill us, we should take the courage to explore the opportunity for turning our passion into a business. On the other hand, there is also a significant number of people who are working in a job that does not fulfill them, but they stay in business in order to please 3rd party players (family, friends, fellows) or because they are driven by money that they are making in their current jobs. For both scenarios we need to be aware of the fact that the globalized internet world in which we are living enables us start with relatively low start-up costs. Everybody can find or make the time in order to work in a field that he/she is passionate about.

I have to admit, I am TEDoholic. I need every day a "fix" of inspiration of remarkable people. I feel that TED makes me a better person and makes me reflect on a regular basis "what could I contribute in order to make the world a better place". Looking forward to share my advances in the future on the TED stage...

A comment on Talk: Jason Clay: How big brands can help save biodiversity

Aug 16 2010: I am in the design stage of a similar project for the hotel and industrial laundry industry in Mexico. Our goal is to reduce water consumption for 1 average hotel by 1,000,000 Liters / month. Interestingly, we have considered a similar approach as Dr. Clay. Might be worth collaborating.
  • A comment on Talk: Janine Benyus shares nature's designs

Dec 2 2008: Despite the "foreplay" part at the beginning I have to admit that this is a very interesting talk that should be shared with entrepreneurship students. The purpose is not to tell them that they have to invest in primary research or switch disciplines. More, I think that it should inspire and motivate them to pursue the interaction with people and experts from other disciplines. It will enable them to discover meaningful and sustainable business ideas.
