How can we encourage mainstream media coverage of Israeli and Palestinian nonviolence leaders?
I would be willing to help spread the message though I'm just a student :-) My father is from palestine, actually hes an ambassador of Palestine, and I have spend most of my life (I'm 24) witnessing the violence in the area in the most extreme way. This has to stop, there has to be a strong Peace movement and I applaud all the efforts you are doing. Like I said I will do my best to spread the message that peace and non-violence is the way forward.

How can we encourage mainstream media coverage of Israeli and Palestinian nonviolence leaders?
The best way is through the use of social media sites and the use of Internet in general. These are things that can never be censored plus and we can send a much more powerful message through sites like that than mainstream media. The way people follow news is changing and a shift towards sites like facebook, twitter etc is obvious so thats where the focus should be. Word of mouth was, is and will be the best tool to promote a cause.

What's your TED habit?
It first started as an inspiration..Every time I faced an obstacle or I felt down, a TED talk would do the trick and get me back on track. When I watched the 20 essential TED talks for graduates that was a turning point in my life and not long after that I managed to attend my first TEDx event in London which was an amazing experience!

What is the single most important question that the youth of this era need to ask themselves?
I completely agree with you on the school issue Luke. I think Sir Ken Robinson summed it up well in his talk about how schools kill creativity. The education systems in most countries need a serious change. I've met with people that are teachers in the past outside their workplace and when I start talking to them it makes me wonder how some of them end up teaching children and passing on ''knowledge'' that harms them instead of actually doing good for them. One of the best things you can do as a parent I would say it's to encourage your children to ask questions and not be afraid of being different and above all to stand on their own. If they can stand on their own proudly then they can do so much more even when in a group. Like you said it's a simple step yet the benefits could be great.

Well why not? Of course there will be obstacles when asking such a question but ultimately to be free and truly happy you must do something you love and that could be anything depending on the individual. The most difficult obstacles that stop the youth from being happy though and pursuing their dreams are usually mental ones as a result of philosophies that state that being part of a group is far more important than being an individual, unique in it's own way. I think they can be happy and free as long as they ask more questions and use their mind more and more actively seeking their own happiness with a positive attitude.
