About Me

I have a wide range of interests and passions including: bio engineering, education, research, the developing world, helping others, mobile technology, games based learning, triathlon, solving big problems with small ideas, languages, travel, culture, how language shapes culture or culture shapes language, Jesus, start ups, creative solutions to big problems, reading, programming, software engineering, medicine, the mobile industry, linguistics, Java, Android, beauty in all forms, start ups, learning anything and everything new, China,

I am currently working in mobile software development, particularly for educational purposes. I have experience in Product and Project Management for mobile applications in a cross cultural environment.

I majored in Biomedical Engineering and am interested in returning to that field. Of particular interest would be combining mobile and health technologies, especially in developing areas.

I have two years experience in teaching English as a second language to Chinese students of all levels and all ages from 5 years old to adults. Currently I'm improving my upper intermediate level Mandarin, and am interested in learning more languages, particularly Arabic. I'm currently learning Java for Android development, and am working on mobile applications.

I thoroughly enjoying traveling and living in various places around the world, and have a particular heart for developing areas.

Ideally I would like to combine my background in Biomedical Engineering with my interest in mobile software and education, and also my passion for travel, language and culture, in particular using my knowledge of Mandarin Chinese.
