  In my eyes your comparing apples and oranges, if James didnt know who the owner of the home was then he could go and shake Tony's hand and see that he is a physical being. If some one asked if God is real and i replied no, then they said well here he is, come shake his hand, they would remove all doubt.
  
  AbdelRahman Siddig said "GOD does not explain every thing to us but he explained in clear details which path we should walk into to escape from hell and enter haven" GOD does not explain anything directly to us but more on the lines of vicariously through many disciples who wrote in a book in their own words years after the death of his son

  Jul 21 2011: Great points Colin and I agree we can't really argue what is natural or not, we can only stick around and see how it all pans out. Its like what scott said in a past comment, "language must be dynamic to survive". On another note, as long as parents keep buying 8 year olds cell phones on their maxed out Visa cards then, your right, it will be alot harder for them to appreciate the technology they are given, let alone not over use them = )

  Jul 20 2011: See to me the meaning of life is something no one else has ever discovered. People spend there whole life searching for the meaning trying to get rich, find out what there here for but really to me the meaning of life is trying to find the meaning. See people spend there whole lives searching for it, searching to better themselves, trying to find the point of total nirvana. Then when there dying they realize everything they worked there whole life for is gone and the point in life is to live and discover what you've already found. The meaning of life is to try and find it. Just keep chasing your tail that's what were all here for.

  Jul 20 2011: Mens testosterone is released approximently every 15 min, opposed to females estrogen which is released once a day. since they are the sex hormones, you tell me who is buying more sex and sexually objectified images? silly question for you to ask and beside the point. but everything else you've said I have enjoyed, you make some great points.

  Jul 20 2011: Its a fine line. If the parents want they're kid so have some sweets let them but I think its the over doing of it that might be considered abuse. I once was chatting with some friends at this girls house, her 2 year old son can up holding his sippy cup so she popped the lid off, went to the fridge, opened a mountain dew and filled it up. I think that was terrible to do, whats wrong with water? its more of a question saying " When is to much junk food child abuse?"

  Jul 20 2011: what about partnering with insurance compaines and giving people breaks on they're insurance if they get regular check ups? offer free screenings, we know that specialist doctors make enough money anywho.

  Jul 20 2011: Great questions, I like to imagine the the human brain works somewhat off a scale of importance. Everyone knows that if you dont do your taxes you'll have an IRS agent banging on your door and possibly take everything you own but if your doctor wants you to come in and get a prostate exam and you dont, its not like he's going to go and pound on your door to drag you into the doctors office.
  
  it's a sad thought to think that people are more scared of the IRS than they are of dying. if the persons condition isn't physyicaly or mentally effecting them they are more prone to hold it off untill they are sick, weather or not they could have prevented it from occuring in the first place. out of sight out of mind.
  
  On a near by reservation there are a large number of deaths caused by strokes and heartattacks and beacause of that they put up billboard signs listing the causes, symptons, and preventatives of strokes and heartattacks. that apparently has not only made people more aware of whats going on but also help drive the number of deaths down considerably.
  
  To help make people aware and get screenings done I think that it more depends on the demographic your in, billboards may work for us in between our rural communities but TV commercials may be better in other places.

  Jul 20 2011: Great point! you've made me think. I appreciate your input Scott. On the idea of new vs old do you think that the "new" (as in all technology) could have a negative effect on people? example: A study shows that memory is poorer when participants expect that information they learn will be stored on a computer for later use.
