More About Me

I'm passionate about

equality, love, and marijuana.

An idea worth spreading

We are the culmination of quite a bit of evolutionary design. our minds possess the ability to record our errors and achievements and communicate them to others. We are the highest form of natural intelligent life on our planet. Our behavior should reflect our intelligence.

Talk to me about

How the ted talks can actually inspire intelligent people to action, intead of creating watery eyes with bold words. As herodotus said, what good are bold words when no brave action follows?

People don't know that I'm good at

Speaking, meditation, dreaming, dancing and singing.

My TED Story

The first ted talk i saw came from a search on google about the size of the universe. ive been hooked ever since.

  • A comment on Conversation: How do we reform education?

Sep 8 2011: I think we should be asking children what they wish to learn about and grouping them accordingly. reading and basic math should be requirements and that can be done through their interests. i tend to read about what im interested in as do most people. its forced reading that bores children and adults alike. everyone has their own definition of intelligence and everyone measures everyone else to their own foot. its time we let some of the children of the age of technology begin to educate themselves. i do belive they may do a better job than we will try to do. we cant even feed ourselves properly.
  • A comment on Conversation: Humility..............What do you think it is ?

Sep 8 2011: or even better, to step back from yourown place and time and consider the world from another point of view
  • A comment on Conversation: Humility..............What do you think it is ?

Sep 8 2011: the ability to see yourself in all things and all things in yourself.
  • A comment on Conversation: What can be done to get the most out of one's schooling? What would you change about your education experience?

Aug 30 2011: I would have loved to have been able to follow my own interests younger instead of a forced curriculum. its easy to learn basic arithmitic and reading, america proved it. buto have been able to focus my studies earlier in to what I wanted to learn, would have not made me so resentful towards our education ,private and public, systems.
  • A reply on Conversation: Do the benefits of the Hemp plant and its derivatives outweigh the dangers involved? or is the prohibition simply something else entirely?

Aug 30 2011: well, as plato said. those who are too smart to engage in politics, are usually punished by being governed by those who are not. in my state of kansas, no politician or official would ever read this comment strand without clinging to his "values". the older generation, babyboomers in america, have been stigmatized. some have not. the ones that have felt the need to run for political office. we are just now in the past 10 years seeing loosening of drug laws, but only on a local govt basis, it is illegal with the dea and federal government. which arises another question. How can we have two masters and remain loyal to both?
  • A reply on Conversation: What do you believe is the best ability you posess to enrich the world around you?

Aug 30 2011: this is why religionists dont have productive experiments. when they smash religions together to find out what we are made of i can respect that. but when they argue to impose theyre way of life on others, than i have an issue. most people would not have religion if the trouble had not been taken to give them one. religions are a by product of fear, and science is the investigation of it. yes bad things happen in science and religion but would we as a species be better off without both?
  • A comment on Conversation: Do the benefits of the Hemp plant and its derivatives outweigh the dangers involved? or is the prohibition simply something else entirely?

Aug 29 2011: politicians make more money off its illegality than its legality. if iot was legalized the war on drugs wouold end which means the kickbacks and payoffs would end for many govt officials. this is their "bread and butter". i am a gardenerr at heart. i studied green house tech and management in vocation school. i would rather grow dope and get high than work for someone else and make "money" to buy dope. than i could use all my free time to study nature, raise my kid, instead of trusting a public school. our current economic formula makes parents dependant on public schools as babysitters so the adult can work. this is wrong. i smoke and i figured this out. am i stupid? no. i dont know anyone my age who has read ayn rand or rob roy. yet dope makes you stupid? maybe im what you call a singularity? maybe im just crazy. either way to make it illegal to grow a plant yet profitable to drill oil. when the latter is UNDENIABLY LETHAL. is assinine.
  • A comment on Conversation: Are tougher laws the answer to reduce corruption? Or should we reduce our greed by becoming more spiritual?

Aug 29 2011: Could we reduce our greed, just by living a little bit moer like animals, who have no spiritual beliefs that we know of, instead of implanting a faith based system in spirits? i respect and love the indians who realized if their are no citizens to govern there is no need for government. i am an american half-citizen, i own no home or motor vehicle. i do not believe in retirement plans. i am all for simple living, but there is no where in america where there is a majority of this kind of thinking. the engineers and economists have got a strangle hold on the global population with the help of advertising. american babyboomers are about to be the majority. they will have the say in govt while their children and grandchildren work in resteraunts and factories or hospitals. has the earth ever tried to support this many people who cannot live without help from other humans? no. how has one country been able to grow enough food to overfeed itself and still give tons of grain to nations in need? america will havea violent revolution before a huingerstrike sadly. it happened over equaltiy.what does this say about our nation? people say its hard to live naturally. BS. man does not have legs and feet to push pedals. self entitlement and instant gratification have made this a material world. when men understand that religions are the same as economics, in that it takes people and faith for them to work, they still fail because they are not natural. just as getting behind the whell of a vehicle is un-natural. cultivation and procreation, with good spirits and ganja, plus some good music will SAVE our planet. these things without motorvehicls are nothing but a good ttime. in fact we drive to do these things. if any american reads this quit driving and walk. it is our equjivalent to a hunger strike. since so many americans feel it necessarty to drive every day, just walk everywhere for one week and see what happens.
  • A reply on Conversation: What do you believe is the best ability you posess to enrich the world around you?

Aug 29 2011: so if what you say is true. atheists believe in themselves and religionists give up faith in themselves for faith in a higher power?
  • A reply on Conversation: What do you believe is the best ability you posess to enrich the world around you?

Aug 26 2011: excellent, we should not beccome activists, we should all become teachers , not for money or material gain , but for the satisfaction of enriching ones life. thank you, kindness is a gift mostly humans posess. i concur, once againn my friend.
