More About Me

I'm passionate about

Internet, technology and social media. I like to read a lot about these topics and to see the changes happening before my eyes. Self-education is a real value to me.

An idea worth spreading

Online communities are really effective if they bring some value in offline, in the real word. Do not ask what can the people do for you, see what values can a blogger bring to local communities. More bloggers and social media fans can form a strong community and help them selves and the world they live in. Passion and hard work are only the beginning!

A comment on Talk: Shawn Achor: The happy secret to better work

Jul 7 2012: One thing to remember: don't focus on the workload, be thankful that you are working in the place you wanted:D Great ideas and great speech.

A comment on Talk: Marco Tempest: The electric rise and fall of Nikola Tesla

Jun 24 2012: I have seen Oatmeal fighting for the image of Tesla. Great people deserve to be remembered for ever. :D
  • A comment on Talk: Christoph Adami: Finding life we can't imagine

Nov 13 2011: Okay, we are searching for alien life forms that might have our biosignature, at least the signature of Earth life forms. We are used to think and speak about carbon life forms. What if there are other bases of life, in an very hostile medium? The definition of life is very good, it is a process, but could we determine how that process looks like if we'd actually meet an alien sentimental robot?
  • A comment on Talk: Ian Ritchie: The day I turned down Tim Berners-Lee

Oct 19 2011: Nice short history lesson. It seems that nowadays people are way more open to new things regarding online. But there will be other that will turn down offers for some big ides in the future too. So history repeats itself. Nice to see that behind those technologies and those big companies you can actually see people.
  • A reply on Conversation: Conflicts of Interest in the (Anti-)Malware Industry

Jul 21 2011: Whitelisting tech seems much like a total lockdown, only letting normal application run. A very good idea indeed. I must admit that I didn't heard of whitelisting technology until now. That would make an antivirus useless, wouldn't it?
  • A reply on Talk: Mikko Hypponen: Fighting viruses, defending the net

Jul 20 2011: You don't need to find it offending. I love the work you do and I want to know more about these things. I asked this because it was curious the way an antivirus software finds a virus that another does not.
I've read the other replies and I found the answer. It is too hard for a company to work on two sides. And yes, it seems that this is just a myth.

    Thanks for the answer!
  • A comment on Conversation: Conflicts of Interest in the (Anti-)Malware Industry

Jul 19 2011: Let me start with a question: why do some antiviruses catch only some types of viruses? Isn't it sometimes obvious that some viruses are created by the companies?

A comment on Talk: Mikko Hypponen: Fighting viruses, defending the net

Jul 19 2011: Like the talk and the little change of perspective in the end. I have a curious question: isn't possible that event antivirus companies are making these type of viruses? On topic: even in Romania these virus creators win a lot. Asking for global policing is dangerous though. There should be at least three private companies hired to do this job. Global government policing is hard and against the basics of the internet.
