About Me

I am the Creative York Network Manager for Science City York, providing development guidance and support to creative companies and individuals in Yorkshire.
My current goals are to help enable York to become leading edge in Creative Technologies through building capacity in the city through infrastructure development, support for collaboration, providing sector intelligence and brokering relationships between our creative companies and national and international partners. I also want to encourage more networking, less isolation and greater knowledge share. Other activities include contribution to the enterprise strategy for York and contributing to writing the bid for UNESCO city of media arts. I also set up and run the SCY Phoenix Centre - a successful creative-digital city centre incubator facility in York.

Other interests include Painting and exhibiting art work, and singing in a band. In my spare time I am studying for a Masters in Leadership& Management. I used to play trumpet and might start again.
