Brian is a junior at the George Washington University majoring in Human Services and Social Justice. In his third year as the curator and organizer of TEDxFoggyBottom, Brian acquires and manages all speakers and performers and leads and directs the team and logistics of the event. He is incredibly passionate about community building and projects, one of which was brining Candy Chang's Before I Die Wall public space art exhibit to the GW campus last spring. Recently, Brian finished his 365 Days of Thank You project, a journey based on gratitude, and spoke about it at TEDxYouth@SanDiego; the very first TEDx event he helped to create in high school. Outside of the TED world, Brian loves chocolate milk, Batman, and watching Ellen surprise fans on her show.
I'm passionate about
Unexpected adventures and taking risks. I'm a big believer in the power of gratitude, and I enjoy listening to stories and learning about the world around me.
Talk to me about
Community building. Gratitude. Public space art exhibits. Social entrepreneurship. Cities and urban planning. What makes you happy. Planning TEDx events. Giving others a chance to share their story.
