About Me

My name is Eric I am the founder of Team Good Sign. I thought you might be interested in what we are doing and that we could help eachother. The simple version of what we are doing is spreading a message of hope and encouragement to the world through a visual affirmation. Our positive symbol is a very powerful tool, especially in helping the helpers to get the attention they deserve and need to be succesful. The possibilites and potential for our project are truly limitless as is our desire to show the world a Good Sign to inspire and uplift humanity. My personal motivation to create and show the world Good Sign ultimately comes from my compassion for people who are going through various challenges in life. People need to feel supported and find ways to stay positive especially during these difficult and trying times. I am promoting this movement in such a way that it will restore confidence in our fellow man and inspire people to unify and support one another. We are leading by example and showing people the benefits of this type of activity through direct user experience. Carrying a Good Sign is a lot of fun and it makes the viewer happier, and thats wonderful, but thats not the end of it. People are so attracted to this symbol of encouragement that complete strangers will come up to you and ask you what its all about. Tell them that is is simply an unbiased message of hope and encouragement and that our goal is to inspire people to support one another in this manner all around the world. Tell them about your experience carrying a sign and how it has effected your life and the people around you and then let them know how they can get involved. I feel that this could have a great effect on society and help people to realize that we all have a tremendous amount in common and we truly do desire to help support eachother. I also feel that by seeing this type of effort that people will feel so loved and encouraged that they will either want to get involved or be inspired to start their own projects. Just one example is Jane Jeffries from Los Angeles, CA. She saw my efforts and decided to start giving away love beads by creating freelovebeads.com as a way of showing her appreciation for others in her own way. Showing up with a Good Sign is an easy way to proactively support your community and those efforts and issues that are important to you. People need to feel effective and empowered now more than ever. I feel like most people are so overwhelmed by our current state of affairs that they dont know where to begin. A Good Sign is a great place to start. The only thing that can heal our situation in the world is Love. Ranting about what is wrong with the system or trying to make people angry enough to act by feeding them more fear and sensationalism will only have the effect of further division. These are only a few examples of how this can be effective. We have many other modes of spreading this concept and are open to brainstorming at any time.
