  • A comment on Conversation: Are humans domesticated by technology?

Sep 13 2011: I would agree that it would be hard to go back.... the only way I could see us going back is with some sort of post apocalypse world that you see in the movies. At the point where we are there isn't really an easy way to transition backwards into a world without technology.
  • A comment on Conversation: Is our destiny to be one world with one language?

Aug 25 2011: I feel that it is somewhat difficult to speculate because if it were to happen I feel it would be very very far in the future. Some people want to hold onto their language as hard as they can. So, to have one universal language would mean the possibility of their "home" language to disappear. The reason that everyone would end up using the same language is because of how "small" the world is becoming with technology. So, I will be interested to see what happens....
  • A comment on Conversation: The death penalty is unjustifiable

Jul 21 2011: I totally agree. the death penalty is unjustifiable. there is absolutely no reason for it....

A comment on Conversation: Are you optimistic or pessimistic, and why?

Jul 14 2011: First off, I must say I was pessimistic for a long time....but now I would answer optimistic. My reasoning is simple, life is too short to spend time wasted on negative energy. Life should be enjoyable and lived to it's fullest.
  • A comment on Conversation: What is the difference between a good teacher and a great teacher?

Jul 6 2011: I would say that it's that little bit of extra that takes a teacher from being good to great. A good teacher meets all of the minimum requirements. Their students learn what they need to to get by. There is a sprinkle of poor students, average students, and above average students. A great teacher would put in the extra time to move average students up to above average and poor students to average (if you get what I mean). The teacher wants every student to learn as much as they can and more. It's that little bit extra that they do.
  • A comment on Conversation: What is your definition of personal success?

Jun 29 2011: Some others have said something similar and it may sound kinda lame, but I believe personal success is personal happiness. Only you can really determine if you are successful because it is your life and your opinion should be the only one that matters. If you can go to sleep at night feeling that you are happy with your life at this point then you are successful in my book.
