Jan 15 2013: I think that a combination between experience learning and formal education is the best. At the end, formal learning gives you hundred of thousands years of acumulative learning... but there is no better way to understand these formal education than experience.
Jun 24 2011: I thought this site isnt like youtube where people just insult each other. I think if someone didnt like a speach is ok, but insulting the speaker is just out of the place.
Jun 24 2011: I think Gary is talking about his personal experience and the way he did to be succesfull. In the other hand you quote three factors for succes acording to outliers: talent, effort and circunstance. The only one of this factors that is in our control is effort, so i think speaches about effort are very usefull.

Jun 24 2011: I agree. I dont think the greatest distraction in the office is the manager and meetings. Cause the propouse of managers and meetings are the job. But sites like facebook, twitter, youtube, socialization, coffee and smoke brakes, those are realy distractors. ¿How can you reduce the problem to the managers and meetings?
