    A comment on Talk: Kent Larson: Brilliant designs to fit more people in every city

    Sep 14 2012: Cities are not only about the people, as he says. These ideas are just perpetuating the problem we have. We don't need MORE STUFF. We don't need more "smart, low-energy" technology, especially cars. The cities are for people and for plants and for animals, and most essentially, for the clean air and water. We need bicycles and minimal, effective public transport that uses as least technology and rare earth materialas as possible, and the most of the sun's energy. The shift has to be greater, and has to involve our realization that we need to reproduce less, consume less, move less and live more slowly.
