  • A comment on Conversation: Can we live without a religion?

Jun 21 2011: my opinion, when looking in context, religion is based in blind belief which means you are believing in something that there is not much evidence on.

ancient religions like the Greeks believe in the concept of many gods and how the world was created but really did not catch on

what makes religion so special like Christianity, Islam and Judaism is they explain in the holy books is how life is created in the world and also how to live your life

so you are right that it is associated to having a life style like in modern religion today and we all have different life styles

but sometimes people just define religion as believing in something that is make believe or supernatural

a good example is a person who is a atheist who does not believe in a type of god but is able to live a good lifestyle

its true that we still don't have full understanding of life was created and the existence of life, that we rally on religion so much that there is a number of religious studies, anthropologists, and archaeologists take this in a serious manner of looking for truth
  • A reply on Conversation: how would the world be like if Google was never invented?

Jun 14 2011: not to take it personnel but you are talking out of topic.what i am stating is Google was not invented in the first place which means searches today will be no different then before

it has a good search system for making searches compare to other search engines that's why people start using search engines because now people are able to find searches quickly and easier compare to before with just a bunch of clutter websites in random

but i would agree its not good choice having a competition against Google
  • A reply on Conversation: how would the world be like if Google was never invented?

Jun 13 2011: i would admit that it is true that search engines did exist before Google. the thing that it made it so unique in the first place was that they created a popularity system it list the most prefer choices and what are now and they stack it all in order to most important and less important. pretty much that's how Google became so popular because of this. if you think about it how come other search engines didn't become really popular as Google?

a example is: imagine you searching something like "Microsoft" and you must find the homepage in a search engine before Google ever exited, you click search and and it shows thousands and thousands of websites and the homepage is mix up in random pages which will take a lot of time to waste searching it compare to searching it on Google and find it in the first page you see it on
  • A reply on Conversation: Islam beliefs & Christianity beliefs. fiction? deviation? true?

Jun 11 2011: thats the reson i am a bit confused because it does stated in the bible in text i think its chapter exodus or genus but its a possibility that its just a writer misinterpreting it because in that time their was a bunch of polytheistic religions but what i don't know is why not just state that there is no such gods and their is only one god?
  • A reply on Conversation: Islam beliefs & Christianity beliefs. fiction? deviation? true?

Jun 11 2011: when looking at other religions, Judaism, Chrisanity and Islam are the most related. each of their holy books focus on a connection by the worship of God

when looking at each other having different gods then that's a bit misleading, the reason why because for Allah it just means God in Arabic and for God, the name come from the English language, in many different countries God is named depending on the language you refer to him, but if that's not the case then his real name would be Deus which is in Latin or Yahweh which is in Hebrew, the only difference between them is a language barrier

when looking at there personalities a bit confusing, for the founders of the religions like Abraham, Jesus and Mohammed they are related as prophets from god to spread to idea of god and his commands because of some misinformation of him liked Abraham stating he was a Jealous God or Jesus stating he was a loving god

A comment on Conversation: The decriminalization of abortion

Jun 11 2011: Lucas, i will tell you that i am still young to really judge if i can take care a baby right now but i am confident that when i become a father i would consider adoption if my spouse agrees with it
  • A reply on Conversation: The decriminalization of abortion

Jun 11 2011: in my opinion, i believe that its better to not have a abortion but rather put him up for a adoption.

at the very least the child will live on freely with a family who really wants a baby and able to support it.

if you think of putting up for adoption as the best choice then there would be no reason to have a abortion

A reply on Conversation: can we mix both science AND religion in the world?

Jun 9 2011: i would agree with Nicholas on this one, having balance is key in my book.
  • A reply on Conversation: can we mix both science AND religion in the world?

Jun 9 2011: well i am not telling you that people should follow a religion. in my opinion, one thing that people follow in religion are they are some moral laws of being a good person like helping the poor or you should not hurt love ones
the interesting thing about it is you do not need to follow a religion to be a good person, its human nature to do good things
i would tell you that once i did departed from religion and i was still a good person after that
  • A reply on Conversation: can we mix both science AND religion in the world?

Jun 8 2011: well really this statement was suppose to be a question (not a idea) but by accident set it as a idea but i do believe we cant live without science, religion that is hard to say in my opinion

its just i believe that its good to trust science and religion, you would say i believe in moderation when it come to science and religion together but thats just my opinion
