Aug 11 2011: easier said than done...

but still you must have something that you value in life which you dont want others to take.?

anyway quite true. your point is change for the better.

    Good day sir!
  • A comment on Conversation: When we hold something valuable in your life is were our selfishness shows.

Aug 10 2011: Ill start hehe...

My selfishness is justified in the "CONSERVATIVE type.

Here in Phil, life is simple. a little disorganized but we dont forget to find the humor of it. In our culture as Catholic dominated country we are exposed in a family-oriented kind of lifestyle.
  • A comment on Conversation: Promote a project or organisation to make the world a better place!

Aug 6 2011: I propose this idea only an example. might sound a little fictional but its better that way...

if we can eliminate the people whom we acknowledge threat to society... for example (not literally kill them or exterminate)

No means to offend anyone here. example only If Bin Laden is still alive and by miracle the US Govern and Al Qaeda would have made a truce between (ofcourse its impossible but you get the idea) it would have created a huge impact not only to the Americans but in whole world. It will put us in a situation were there is no one to be blame and that we are left fix the mess we have made. Imagine people living in peace, no more protagonist no more antagonist.

but the question still remains is that Are we that peaceful type of people?. or majority of us are?

A comment on Conversation: If you could teach the world 1 valuable thing you learned, what would it be and why?

Aug 6 2011: It is our responsibility to distinguish the difference between right from wrong. If we rely on others in dictating our own morality then it is in our destiny to live an empty and without purpose kind of life.

    regarding the "skill" part...

(i can levitate a spoon without using my bare hands!...)
  • A comment on Conversation: Read my words and then tell me if science is a religion or not.

Aug 6 2011: If Science is a religion then Scientist are Gods?

imagine the host of myth buster, make it the whole crew of the show playing, experimenting our life?

Its true that we want to improve life, like doctors for example... life is not always a happy ending that everytime we leave
the hospital everything is a-okay. Imagine yoursefl a surgeon trying to save your patients life but at some point you failed.

It is in our good intent to live a good life thats why we appreciate what Science can offer to us but still it is based on a "trial and error" approach until perfected. lots of sacrifices have to made which i dont aggree for lots of injustices will happen.

Science can be manipulated and there are lots of people who have been left out there that can end up being your chimps and hamsters in your so called "laboratory experiment", your playing god experiment. like the example above at some you will fail.
  • A comment on Conversation: Why is that we value more dieing for our country than dieing for out faith?

Aug 6 2011: to die for your country is to be admired by your fellow national

to die for "your" is faith is to live in what you believe in.

both philosophy can be exagerated e.g patriotism, faithful believer. due to lack of peace with oneself.
  • A comment on Conversation: Where is the centre of the universe?

Jun 7 2011: i have this crazy idea...

we know in past that the church have proclaimed that the center of the universe was "earth" until science prove that the sun was the center of the galazy.

maybe the reason why the church did say the center of everything was on earth because whatevers out there has already have a representation here on earth. people are like planets representing different characters etc. some are like comets bumping other peoples business hehe.

heres a joke... "the-bed, my-bed can be the center of the universe. bebe" - just a joke ofcourse.
  • A comment on Conversation: What is the mystery within art?

Jun 7 2011: well if i were to be an artist...

replicating the imperfection of a subject into a perfect "imperfection". i can say my art is a masterpiece...

where the mystery is? = depending upon my creativity? (only my opinion)

"What is that element that identify a piece of art?" - example. well to others a simple painting can just be a simple painting but to the gifted the same painting can have a million of meaning, it only represents what the viewer can relate.

    speaking for myself...
  • A reply on Conversation: Nothing's off topic

Jun 2 2011: Myth about Fries. (Potatoes + Iodized Salt) "deep-fry, french fry"

Potatoes are rich in Potasium. = Potasium removes Iodine in the body.
Salt nowadays are rich in Iodine, no wonder they call it "Iodized Salt" o_0??? in reverse removes Potasium in the body.

you do the math and what do we get from a McDonalds Fries? who cares !!!

(can correct me if im wrong...not a nutrionist here. hehe)
