Jul 28 2011: Hi Nina,
Thanks for both interesting paper. I really appreciated it. But I still wonder if the cells in-vitro can be influenced by sound wave directly? and how can can we introduce human stress into the culture and study its reaction. Just curious. hehehe
What a discussion for a 4-min talk. You successfully make it alive :) thank for the 'brain nutrient' you gave. Something come to my mind when you talk about how electric pulse improve the heart's cells culture. I was wondering what happened if the same heart cells were treated with chemical agents such as adrenaline hormone or something like it. Does the hormone affect the brain before changing the heart rate or it can affect directly to the heart cells? I cannot find any threads discuss about it, and I'm sorry if it something stupid to ask. Another thing is that i have a great passion in sound, music and wave. Do you think that sound wave may affect the cells in in-vitro culture? I often heard music can influence the heart. Is it cause by the brain signal only or is there some connection between the cells culture and sound wave. I'm very interested to know about it :)
Jul 22 2011: I just wondering, if we go to a low class restaurant and order some food, it is likely to get food with low presentation quality. But the taste cannot be judge by its presentation only. So to identify its quality, we have to taste it. It the same with expensive and decorated dish, we cannot determine the dish quality before tasting it. My point is, if we want to know about something or someone, we should really learn and understand it deeply. If we want to judge those who embrace Islam, befriend with a number of Muslim and study their life closely.
You see, if we translate the Quran directly, it will sound like what Krisztián Pintér had said. What we learned and teach by the scholar and our Prophet is, Jihad can be divided into 2. Jihad in defense of our country, family, our right as human and jihad against ourselves. Jihad against ourselves mean a fight against our lust, greed and any bad behavior. There is no such thing as Jihad to kill or conquer.
For the polygamy and marriage laws, there is no such thing as poor guy don't have his chance to get married. What happened is, some people intended to put a large ceremony for their daughter marriages, thus they need a lot of money to do that. So they asked the husband to be to pay for the gift and sometimes the ceremony. However, Islam never ask its believer to pay a lot of money in order to marry someone. It was the society or the culture of its people which determine such thing.
For a valid marriage, the following conditions must be satisfied: There must be a clear proposal, There must be a clear acceptance, There must be at least two competent witnesses. This is necessary to exclude illicit sex and to safeguard legitimacy of progeny, It is recommended that marriage should be widely publicized, There must be a marriage gift, little or more, by the bridegroom to the bride. In details, we can find a good elaboration of wedding in Islam from this site http://www.ezsoftech.com/omm/handbook.asp
