Kelley Connors is a highly effective strategic healthcare marketing and communications professional with expertise in reaching patients, physicians and the media. Her passion, background and skills inspire her to create relevant and compelling integrated marketing and public relations campaigns.
With over 17 years of health care communications agency experience, Ms. Connors’ interdisciplinary background spans medical education, advertising and public relations. As a member of the Westchester/Fairfield County GO RED Leadership Team, Kelley brings her advocacy to action to raise awareness and raise funds to improve education and awareness of heart disease as a woman’s issue. She is a social media enthusiast, and uses her skills to raise disease awareness, educate women – especially midlife women – and engaged experts in her on-line radio show and community called Real Women on Health!
On behalf of Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, she was the creator of a smoking prevention initiative with a physician training component to prevent smoking in young girls. Her program was subsequently accepted for publication in the July issue of The Journal of Communications In Health Care.
In January 2009, Kelley was nominated a “Woman of Innovation” from the Connecticut Technology Council in the Entrepreneurship and Leadership category.
Ms. Connors earned a Masters in Public Health from Boston University School of Medicine with a Certificate in Public Communication from BU’s School of Public Communication in 1989. She graduated magna cum laude from University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1981.
