Aug 14 2011: strangely enough, eating meat is extremely bad for the environment. in the united states cows a fed a diet of mostly corn because it is cheap. when cows digest corn the produce a huge amount of methane compared to cows who are grass fed. livestock create more green house gases than automobiles worldwide.
Aug 9 2011: its funny how that is the world of democracy today is playing peoples emotion for support, than making lots of back room deals. if i had to guess not much emotion is involved in the deals, just way too much logic.
its a nice example because it shows the two sides to emotion (which is extremely undefined in this discussion).
I love you all.
Aug 8 2011: complete system remodels are not usually undertaken unless they have to be. So assuming cities are grossly overcrowded, what do we do to save space without all retreating inside.
Aug 8 2011: the only reason i chose Mandarin was the fact that it is the most popular language. i do not really have a bias toward any language in particular. Esperanto would be fine but it would take much more energy to implicate.
i share your opinion that promulgation would be sinful but if we can simply let a language culturally take over then nobodies feeling would to be hurt.
right?
Aug 7 2011: isn't Newspeak is the elimination of vocabulary within a single language in order to prevent ideas to be created cognitively? elimination of other languages would not eliminate certain ideas from being able to be relayed. it may be more difficult to talk about certain things like "the oneness of nature and man" in English but if there are really concepts to vast to be defined in a word then please post an essay on said concept. At the end of the essay choose a string of syllables and make that word mean something.
