A comment on Conversation: What are 10 things YOU know to be true?

    May 18 2011: Hi Roni!

1.It's difficult moving on without telling the ones you love the most you love them.
2.Being tall isn't that bad, sometimes.
3.Art is beautiful no matter how grotesque it may appear.
4.Everyone should risk their life by overcoming a fear.
5.Calculus and architecture are languages and we need to familiarize ourselves with abstract equations and minimalistic mundane ideas derived from the human mind, our mind.
    6.Self-pity is the worst guilt.
7.Loneliness is inevitable for someone like me.
8.Some of the most talented individuals are held hostage by the ones closest to them.
    9.Breaking the law is lawful.
10.The brain is the deadliest weapon.
  • A comment on Conversation: Why dont we enjoy the movie as much as the book ?

Apr 26 2011: A reader is constantly involved with creating the visual atmosphere. The words that you read allow you to mold a particular understanding. When I read "Heart of Darkness" by Joseph Conrad, my imagination was simply injected with something profoundly appetizing. I love the book, but once I watched the movie I sort of lost the credibility of what I built about such a beautiful book.

In my honest opinion, movies eliminate the imaginative process we normally undergo while reading a book, unless it's accurate.

Apr 24 2011: If terms come to worse, labor, parts and supplies should all be voluntary.

Damn you Sky and your rebuttal.

Apr 23 2011: In addition, we would have to plan on how many inhabitants we would want in "our new world". If it cost billions to transport a couple of men and women to the moon, just imagine transporting BLLIONS of men and women, plus children to the cheesy biosphere. Also, you have to take into consideration of human needs: water, food, shelter. THIS EQUATES TO EVEN MORE EXPENSES!

I believe we should deal with our problems here on Earth and not run away to a foreign mass to create only MORE problems. We live in a world with the resources capable of reversing or stabilizing our mistakes. So why not apply them?
