Should shark fishing be banned?
In China, there is a saying goes : painting a picture with two brushes at the same time--work along both sides. That is to say, we can enforce it in law and education at the same time. And I think education is more important. The enforcement of bans just regular people's behavior and tell them that they can't do this. However, why they can't do this? the bans have another function : to attract more people to learn the truth behind a bowl of soup. I don't know whether government will pass this ban, but the proposal and discussion of this ban is good for education. It will arouse report which come from internet, TV, news paper, magazine and so on.In fact , not just shark fins, there are so many wildlife, plants and animal, need people's protection, today we enforce shark fishing bans because there are too many sharks killed and they are facing extinction, tomorrow maybe we will find another plant and animal facing extinction. What shall we do? We always be a little late for protection after a kind of wildlife facing extinction. Certainly, this is just a question in my mind, I don't know whether there is any way to solve it. As to shark fishing, combine bans with education, I think, maybe is better.

Should shark fishing be banned?
In my opinion, there are three kinds of people . some people choose shark fins because they think it is rare and can prove their status; some people like eating shark fins because they think it is great benefit for health; some people choose shark fins for no reason, they think this is a part of their culture. In fact, among these people, many don't know how it gets on the table and this will do how big suffer to shark. If they learn more about these. how many sharks could escape the disaster. After all, the nature of man is originally good.

Shark should be protected. As a number of this world, all creature are equal, so are sharks. Although sometimes shark threat people's life, It's cruel to kill so many sharks and put them on table just because people's private interests and enjoyment. In China, abalone and shark fins are valuable and rather expensive. They are more popular in Guangzhou and Hong Kong, every country and place have their own diet culture. Actually, the costs of shark fins are very high and shark fins are rare, so some shark fins in the mark or on people's table are fake, what they eat are just very usual food. I love animal, there are some pictures about killing shark on the internet. Uploader's purpose is to appeal people to say no to shark fins and so on. Shark fishing should be banned, this is law's means. besides, I think that change people's view to shark fins is a good way. Some people like eat shark fins just because they think shark fins can prove their distinguished status.Although I don't think there is any relation between of them. After all, one's status come from his or her speaking and behavior , but not what he or she eats and wears...

Laura Carstensen: Older people are happier
Chronological age is associated with time left in life, goals change across the life span. From my point of view, one's whole life just like a circle. When we were children, our mind is simple because we didnot know about society, we had no realization about rights, obligation, responsibility, fame and so on. We didnot worry about anything because we believe our parents would solve them well. So at that time , we were happy. As we growing up, we gradually entering into society and know more and more about it. We know rights, so we pursue them; we know fame can prove ourselves, so we stretch our hands to it; we also must shoulder our responsibility and obligation; during the process of looking for the meaning of individual's life, worry, sad, loss and other negative emotion will appear . We are full of energy, so we choose higher goals, once we success, we will feel great happy, once we failed, we will fall into the great sense of loss and sorrow. older people have experience the most brilliant and gloomy time. To the meaning of their life, they have new understanding. they choose put more time and energy on their relatives, friends and to savor life."All fame is the floating clouds", just older people have rights to say this sentence, i think. both the children and the older people are happier. both of them look things with simpler eyes and heart, so this is the reason that there are some similar behavior between older people and children. from the beginning to the ending, the ending also is the beginning.

What is the value of gaining a higher education?
i also have this problem. facing graduation the next year,i feel some confused. post graduate or work? i choose work after graduation because of some individual reason. however, in China, there are more people who wait for employment, there are less jobs. maybe, because the problem of our national education system. higher education doesnot mean better capability. but a good education background is a stepping-stone to a good job.

One Worldwide Government
it sounds interesting. i think the concept of a one government is possible . well, if 2012, the end of the world, is not true. nothing is impossible . capitalism and communism can be from hostile to coexist and exchange of needed goods and ideas in many aspects. it is a great change and progress. actually, there has be a initiatory government--United Nation which contribute to events of global. such as environment, wars , natural catastrophe and so on. although it cannot stand for all countries' intrests, many developing countries are benefit from it. there are over 150 countries in the world. every country has his own condition and intrests. so it is impossible to eliminate all contradiction during one night. it is a rather long process. however, if we increase communication to each other and understand give consideration to others' interests . this dream maybe come true in the future.

How do we solve the problem of global unemployment?
Dear Debra, i am rather glad to hear that you have the plan to come to my country. wether all people in the world want to expierence different life style except that belong to their own country. Canada is a beatiful country and there are perfect welfare system. this is a big advantage in chinese eyes. in chinese, there is saying goes, the moon in other country always be more round than that of in own country. that is to say , everthing in foreign country is better. certainly, it is some exaggerated. china is also a beatiful country with long history. it is true that we have a big change in so short time and i believe that our achievements is tight relates to other countries. everything has his advantage and disadvantage. country is not exception. you see its merits, now ,in chinese, food safety is a hot point and raise hot discussion. increasing price is another problem . housing price is a hot point all the time. in my college, there are some foreign language teacher who come from U.K. America, Germany´╝îand Japan. i can feel that they have been accustomed to life in China, sometime i even see that they eat chaffy dish, it is very very spicy with many chilli in it. so i admire their courage. when you come here , you can have a try.

How do we solve the problem of global unemployment?
thank you for your reply. i learn some useful information from your words. you see, china and U.S. are very different society. however, in difference, there are some alike. it is true that factary always want to get more profits. not long time ago, foxconn company fell into scandal. some workers choose suicide by jumping from their work-biulding. too long time and dull working increase their pressure. in developing country , we are fall into a srange circle. too much work, we cannot bear. too few work, we are in verge of unemployment. both are problem. in addition, how to solve this question? this also a problem. after all, it relates to many aspects. solving it needs a long time. so what do you think? i needs your suggestions.

to some extent, i agree with Taulant Llolluni. in my country , in many factories , salary is decided by work time. the more work time , the higher salary .under normal situation, they work eight hours every day and six days per week. however, as for many workers ,especially migrant workers, they eager to and need more work time ,so they can make more money to support they family. in chinese. the welfare system still need improving. especially in rural. so money is essential to many familes. four days' work time may be not practical in china. but in U.S. i donnot know, whatever, every cuntry has his own condition.
