I'm from a city that goes back to 1536 called Colima, Mexico. Came to the US on January 1988 just shy of 15 years old. Came to work to help support my family back home but soon found out it was illegal for me to work at 15 and I had alreay been working for about 3 years in my country. I was pleasently surprised and went to school and as a 10th grader started to learn my ABCs and on my way to discovering all that this country had to offer. It has been a great journey ever since I took that 2 and a hald day bus ride from Colima to TIjuana BC, Mexico and then to Los Angeles, where I've lived ever since. Have worked in the fields harvesting all kinds of fruits, restaurants, parking industry, joined the US Air Force reserves and completed a 6 year term, got into real estate and now work for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department as a Custody Officer.
