About Me

I am serial entrepreneur, and find myself currently articulating my dream business. I am also consulting several small businesses in many ways. There is a great disconnect in many businesses as ideas get started or sit stuck in analysis. I am person who connects the disconnects by teaching companies to use their current resources to step into the new ways of technology using historically known principals of business. In other words, I make the fundamentals accessible within the new technologies and channels of communication.

More About Me

I'm passionate about

My wife, my dogs, my family, my friends, and the creative class. I am passionately driven towards inspiration both in providing it and in receiving it.

An idea worth spreading

The creative class is here. Many don't even know they are part of it. I want to help define it. Make people aware of it. And, create systems that allow the creative class to grow, engage, inspire, empower, and thrive. I am seeking the new renaissance.

  • A comment on Conversation: How do you deal with data deluge (too much email, too many tweets, etc.)?

Jun 27 2011: I compartmentalize my intake. Using filters, labels, and multiple calendars in the Gmail and Google Calendar services I have created a system so that the important interactions of the day are the only thing that hit my main inbox. I can finish my email in an hour every morning, and then reply only to active conversations. Then once a week I handle departmental labels like accounting, marketing, etc...

I also have followup rules, and put the follow up in time using the calendar. With the calendar I use color coding with a calendar for each department so that it is useful at a glance.
