My TED Story

I was introduced to TED when my microbiology teacher showed us "Bonnie Bassler on how bacteria "talk"" video in the class. I was so fascinated by the talk and checked out TED.com right after the class. From then on, I always visit TED and listen to as many talks as time allows. Now, I am trying to translate talks into Burmese (Myanmar) for my fellows.

A comment on Talk: John Bohannon: Dance vs. powerpoint, a modest proposal

Dec 6 2011: This is beautiful! I've watched several "Dance your PhD" videos as well and it is absolutely a great idea to combine dance with science; however, in my opinion, dance can portray only a part of the idea but not the whole idea and I must admit that dancers sometimes distracted me during the talk.
