Chandra Danine, documentary photographer, raconteur, media strategist, galavanter and voyeur with a reputation for being the first to identify new trends. Miss Danine owes her integrity and credibility to time, experience, insight, and imagination.
She earned her degree from the University of California, Berkeley in Media Studies while dedicated to her passion for photography under the tutelage of Ken Light, Photo Director and Adjunct Professor at the Graduate School of Journalism. Her concentration focuses on social anthropology, cultural events, and global poverty. Her most recent assignment chronicles a 24 hour glimpse of Tiananmen Square student protest leader, Li Lu’s personal life.
Community service, insatiable wanderlust, and photo assignments has led her to to cross the equator and Arctic Circle dozens of times. She has traveled in excess of 50 countries on 6 continents. She currently serves as a SFMOMA Modern Art Council Board Member and Photographer.
