Saving the Earth
Back Yard Garden Network - "End Hunger Within Our Borders By 2025" We connect backyards to gardeners and food to those who need it, as well as growing food for market, sharing profit and produce, bringing communities together, and building an economic stability along with an environment of reuse and connectivity. Also, this spring we will begin community research and garnering support to start obtaining lots, and placing greenhouses and gardens on them. We will increase the number of lots, and the number of workers, we can provide more food. Part of the food grown will be sold at market to pay the workers, and continue working. A group of lots will be considered a cluster, which will be run like franchises. Making the gardens as efficient as possible, and growing a wider diversity of produce will increase the operational budget, as well as sponsorships and donations. An endowment for the project and operating on a small percentage of interest will keep the project perpetually funded.
