I have thought of an online series and that may end up being the way to go. Recently though, I have read that TV sill holds a strong hold of audiences. My target audience - unless someone suggest otherwise - is families. TV is a time for families to talk about things. I'd like to start a really interesting conversation that people then bring to work to talk about during their lunch hour or on Facebook.
Really - if you are interested, it would be great to bounce ideas around with others.

TED could still be the nickname, too.

I have a few things that we have done with teacher training with technology that has helped shift thinking. We made one of the goals of technology use to be: Learning looks differently for each person. Technology can be used to meet individual learning needs. It provides the opportunity for each one to design their learning and express it in different ways. The ultimate goal is: Learning is unique and meaningful to each learner. Having a vision and goals helped teachers understand that their instructional design includes looking at all children uniquely; therefore, special education students are not separate, but included along with all students. Good luck with your series!
