  • A comment on Conversation: Are most mental health problems caused by Toxoplasmosis or other pathogens ?

4 days ago: Adesh, did you even read the lead article from the Atlantic ? Maybe you wouldn't have used a big cat as a metaphor.

The fact is , doctors have consistently claimed toxo has no effects, and have declined to pursue it.
Without testing, especially kids with apparent behavioral problems, i don't think you can rule it out.

By claiming that mental illness is a symptom of maladjustment or behavioral problems affecting social interactions, is just putting off actually studying the problem with an attempt at a solution.

Lets test for it in ALL neuro and psych studies, and include it in the controls. Brazil is testing extensively now.

I would like to see all kids about to be labled as ADHD, or bipolar, be tested before going on other meds.

I would really like to see the prison population tested, as a control population.

  • A comment on Conversation: The removal of all patents

May 16 2013: What do you want from your patents anyway ?

Fame, fortune, scientific acknowledgement ? Knowing all the lawyers in your region and learning the ICC ?

With the death of money coming, how would that change your answer?

You are never going to get to keep your invention if it really is revolutionary.
It will be knocked off in a chinese factory before you can even get it into production. At another chinese factory.
Or a corporation will claim an infringement, and sue even if it is not even remotely related.

I think that what is going to eventually happen, is that we will end up having/getting to vote, kickstarter like , for projects toys, and tools, we want to go forward.
You will also see that at some point, you will vote for state, regional, and nationwide projects the same way.

Pick where to put highways, business parks, and finally, space projects and the like.

If you don't log on and vote for projects, you won't get to vote for representatives and criminalizing laws.

Would be nice if we got to vote on trade agreements and laws to remove too....
  • A comment on Conversation: Is there a balance between vulnerability and taking control?

May 16 2013: You need to read up on some sex workers blogs.

They have to make life or death decisions every hour, and then surrender to the consequences of them.

Will be very illuminating on these very questions.

  • A comment on Conversation: What is it about 'three'?

May 16 2013: perhaps it is because it promotes discussion , rather than the argument of two.

Is also heavily steeped in the old religions of maiden , mother, and crone.

Breeze thru the Womens Book of Myths and Secrets , and you will see where most of the references come from.

  • A comment on Talk: Thomas Insel: Toward a new understanding of mental illness

May 16 2013: As put forward in the Atlantic article, the rise of depression in Europe was corolatable with the increase of toxoplasmosis.

With the discovery that the plaques in the brain may actually be PROTECTIVE for the neurons, it is quite possible that they are there to damp down the spurious electrical signals being produced from the pathogens that are attached there. A new paper shows that mannitol opens the blood/brain barrier for a half hour. Long enough for a cyst to get thru.

Is much more likely that nearly ALL neuro-degenerative diseases are caused by pathogens.
They also just published the paper showing that HALF of all back pain is caused by bacterial infection.
We have to stop letting these docs waste money on studies that do not control for food additives and pathogenic influences. I'm not kidding about the food addives either, they just found that polysorbate can create an airtight and electron gun proof shell, while they can still reproduce.
This could allow the bugs to continue exuding the chemicals that releases the inflammation chems, putting your body in a permanent state of chem stress.

If you are having troubles, the first thing to do is get a pcr test for t. gondi, or toxoplasmosis.

    start here.

Borax is now illeagal in Europe and the signatories to the Codex, so prob Canada too.
Even tho it is only half the toxicity of table salt.
  • A comment on Talk: Andres Lozano: Parkinson's, depression and the switch that might turn them off

May 16 2013: You can try tran cranial direct stim at home. just search for TCDS online.

This isn't as helpful for Park, but very effective for all the depressive spectrum disorders.

With the discovery that the plaques in the brain may actually be PROTECTIVE for the neurons, i don't believe most of neuro is even science. Still in victorian times , with future tools.

Is much more likely that ALL nuerodegenerative diseases are caused by pathogens.

A comment on Conversation: Truths and Facts. Does Science prove anything?

May 15 2013: What scientific facts?

There is not a single thing i learned in school in the 80's that is now correct.

I mean everything. Bio, Geo, Phys, History. And Astronomy is the worst.
I am studying asteroid mining, and can tell you, there is not a single fact, physical sample,or mathematical model that supports disc accreation theory. That reverberates all the way thru cosmology.

Most science now, except some bio, is ALL math now. That isn't reality, it is an easily falsifiable fantasy.

We can't even find the missing electrostatic energy form, here on earth, or as dark energy.
Following the quantum zoo escape isn't leading us anywhere.

The general public is starting to realize, that all new sci discoveries, are shoehorned into a few influential professors worldviews. That is more of Confucianism than science.

A comment on Conversation: What potential does 3D printing have for developing economies?

May 15 2013: Not if we don't reform copyright law.

That is the actual goal of the copyright lawyers and govts right now.

If all designs have to be protected, then all 3D printers have to be registered, and controlled for copyright protection.

The spare parts angle is the largest i see, but see above.

The biggest thing is actually the reduction of transportation costs and recycling the waste stream at the same time.

A comment on Conversation: Does Technology destroy our relationship with Nature?

    May 15 2013: NO.

But control of tech by others might.

Ease of access to info is great for gardening, but info for farming research is all controlled by corporations using research students to further their RandD.

I vote we get rid of all for profit corporations, and let the hippie chicks run the world. Really.

Also recommend the book "death of nature" to get the big picture.
