  Nov 21 2011: I think in my case that falls in the region of spending time chatting on TED i suppose John, and yeah i think it is a good hobby as you get to hear different schools of thought on a given topic.

  Nov 17 2011: Creativity/ Innovation is about taking new ideas through to satisfied customers (internal or external) and good leaders make this happen. Creativity happens at all levels (follower or Leader) I would say emphatically both are lifeblood of any organization today. The accounting profession is currently talking about International Integrated Reporting, It is about focusing on business sustainability against a back drop of short-term-ism tendencies which has proved disastrous in the current economic environment. This is a good example of innovation and leadership on the part of the team that is selling this idea.

  Nov 15 2011: If am not busy with work and family assignments i find myself filling the gaps with reading educational and inspirational literature. Weekends are spent doing outdoor sports from power walking to playing golf. Still i find myself wondering whether there are more fun hobbies i could indulge myself in.

  Nov 14 2011: writing poetry & song lyrics is that just a hobby or a start of a career as a poet or song writer? My thinking has been that a hobby is some activity you do just to pass time not for a future gain in some way. What do you think?
