I was wondering about the cost/scale factors of making an app like this one. It's obviously much more expensive to produce than a simple e-book so are you projecting some sort of profit down the line after you sell x copies or (because it's Al Gore follow-up to An Inconvenient Truth) was this designed as an evangelizing tool?
In any case, I love the format and I think it's a bargain for the price.

While this isn't exactly pertinent to your question, it would be an important step to get more people into the TED community.
Maybe later there could be an effort to translate into english the TEDx talks from different languages. There are some real gems out there which should be watched by a wider community.

Also, I doubt that there is a better delivered TED Talk than his. His flow, the way he uses his voice and body to get his words through is near perfect.
