There is simply not enough space here to elaborate. As i said, books by Den Denett or Rachamandran give some great information on this topic. Briefly. Thinking is impossible without emotions. They are deeply intertwined and inseparable, most probably even for AI.

No need to argue with that. Because, as you said, logical thinking in humans is impossible without emotions, it depends on them and it is intertwined with them. So id say we said the same thing :-) i.e. that emphasis of this speaker on emotional behavior is not the way forward.
