I was a translator for yyets.com, a Chinese fansub, where I rendered subtitles of British and American TV series and BBC documentaries. Plus, I translated news articles for the English website of my uni.. I like the idea of TED. It makes me more liberal and get to know the cutting edge of the world, even from this heavily censored China. TED is good access to innovative ideas and I would love to promote it as a translator.
