I am passionate about the world, the goodness of humanity, higher ideals, travel, and people across the world. I am also endlessly passionate about eternal pursuit of knowledge and understanding.

My TED story

I tend to watch my TED talks while exercise, an activity I do not particularly enjoy. Sixty minutes on a treadmill is worth good three or four talks. I love combining the necessity (exercise) with a huge reward (the talks). It happened more than once that, after being really moved by some of the stories, I ended up wiping of tears, mingled with sweat.

Clearly, progress is moving AWAY from animal experimentation, as this talk demonstrates According to the speaker, animal experimentation does not work well, for several reasons. Not exactly progress, is it? And you are right, I am working toward vegetarianism and natural healing. Are you?

I would be far more impressed if the driving force for this type of research was ethics and ethical consideration for the billions of animals that are 'sacrificed' in order to help advance science. According to Dr. Hamilton, those euphemistically called 'animal models' do not even work well. I am fascinated, impressed, and delighted with this exciting research, for the right reasons, though.
