About Me

“I appreciate your work,
But I won’t follow your footsteps.
I’ve taken the road less traveled;
And the mind gazed in wonder at the sea of ideas before me.
I think, therefore I am.
Well here I am – with something NEW.

NEW that has Potential. NEW that is Proficient. NEW that is Profound. NEW that is Productive. NEW that is Profitable.”

YES! This is the core philosophy of mine. I am an idea programmer, an information architect & a change maker. I have been working as an education analyst, a motivational speaker, a social worker, an entrepreneur, a business analyst, a brand consultant, a marketing analyst, a musician, an author, a gen maven alongside a lot else!

Entrepreneurship is my passion. Marketing is my fashion. My one last breath is only for entrepreneurship & marketing. I want to live & die with these two things. My passionate dedication along with dedicated passion speculate that unless something happens somewhere that has to do with idea or marketing or entrepreneurship, I refuse to get up! Business is my business.

I am the founder of the first ever online Knowledge Hub ‘www.NiazBiz.com’ of Bangladesh. I have established it for spreading excellent knowledge to the MASS for free, minimizing digital divide, changing the life of people with the changes of global trend, giving a safe shadow to get a worthy & meaningful career, providing best online resources for helping them to purse excellence for enlightening the world with ideas, innovations, entrepreneurship & social works.

On the other hand, I am the publisher of first ever online entrepreneurship magazine ‘eTalks’ of Bangladesh. It is a monthly magazine consists of successful and fearless stories of entrepreneurs, entrepreneurial columns & advices, entrepreneurial training & development materials & so on. I strongly believe entrepreneurs are the true economic builders. The more entrepreneurs we will have, the stronger our economy will become. So my target is to make more entrepreneurial rock stars through my works.

The Ultimate Blogging, ISBN-978-984-33-3292-2 is my first attempt to bring together everything there is to know about, err… blogging! In addition, I am about to publish five of my manifestos from ChangeThis [which has been diffusing ideas & changing minds] – How to be Unusually Creative, 14 Cs for Idea Programmers & Information Architects, WWW [dot], Marketics & Love will Keep Us Alive.

The English dailies here acknowledge my regular contributions. Some of my most popular write-ups include - The Concept of Edutainment, The Better Way to Make Better Customers, For the Pursuit of Knowledge, My Soul is for My Beloved Customers, Significance of Communication Skills, Why Time Management is Significant & The Importance of Extracurricular Activities.

I have been working with the JAAGO Foundation, an effort by the Bangladeshi youth to facilitate those on the unfortunate side of the poverty line to break free of the vicious circle through education. As the Education Development Officer, I have distinguished myself with endeavors where I left a mark from start to finish – Edutainment, JAAGO Infographics, JAAGO Idea Center, & the JAAGO Development Journal. All these within 6 months! A whirlwind of activity – much the same as my previous engagement as an Education Analyst for the Poverty Fighter Foundation.

As an attendee I have participated TEDxDhaka 2012. I was a Delegate in the 2011 Youth Leadership Summit by the Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center, which promotes the future leaders of the country. Inspiring Future Minds, a youth session organized by the Bangladesh Brand Forum, brought me in contact with the Marketing Guru himself – Dr Philip Kotler. Alongside seven selected workshops of eAsia 2011, fifty more have accepted me as a trainee. The wheels have come full circle – I am now the Mentor! I conduct seminars on Trendsetting, Brand Marketing, Effective Education, Workflow, Human Resource Development, Motivation and Leadership.

I found time to graduate with honors on Marketing in my Bachelor in Business Administration degree from a reputed university in Dhaka, United International University. I did my intern from British American Tobacco.

I am a bookworm in a disorganized library! My book list includes the whole spectrum of knowledge. From the art of the East to the literature of the West, big business to microeconomics, quantum physics to cosmology, biodiversity to evolutionary biology, anthropogenic global warming to natural disasters, urban planning to agribusiness, epistemology to ethics.

I play string instruments like the guitar, and its Bengali counterparts, ektara & dotara, as a member of Attik, a Philosophical Instrumental Band. Fakir Lalon Shah, the legendary Bengali musician and philosopher, is the ultimate inspiration of our Band.

Before my exodus, I would like to leave behind a life dedicated to making Sol’s third planet a bit more special – a better place to live.

An idea worth spreading

“Evaluation of Web 1.0 2.0 3.0 » Changed life
Cloud Computing » Made the world a 1 Gigabyte file
Internet » Brought the total distance to 0.00000001 inch

Now we are in Virtual world. Books are eBooks. Marketing is Viral marketing. Google knows everything”

But I am writing these residing in a country where only 4-5% of the total population (170,570,535) use internet for seeing the pictures of actors/ress.

My TED Story

I am an Idea Maven. I play with Ideas. I love Ideas that spread.

On my 20th Birthday (3rd May, 2008), I was searching on Google for finding out media to spread my ideas. Within .25 seconds I had found almost 40,700,000 results. Fortunately, TED was at the top of my search results on Google. At that time, I was amazed, surprised, staggered and even shocked! for 17 minutes to see the Renowned Doers and Speakers along with their Invaluable ideas all together in the same platform. Yes! Then the Journey to Excellence initiated! And now I do feel the true ownership of TED!

By this time, I have watched more than 900 TED Videos. I have become the die-hard fan of Sir Ken Robinson, Jacqueline Novogratz, Tony Robbins, Malcolm Gladwell, Seth Godin, Arthur Benjamin, Ze Frank, Richard St. John, Elizabeth Gilbert, Rives…..this list will go on and on.

Last but not least, I love TED from the so deepest corner of my heart.

Punch Lines: Long live Ideas. Long live TED.
