Aug 6 2011: Your argument is only theoritical and in that sense it can be appreciated . However wherever the country or place we leave , there are certain rules and regulation required to before entering some places within own country. For example , the military area is normally restricted to the public. Also when a stranger come to our house , we will not allow him to enter our house with out getting sufficient information . This is where the VISA rule starts! . Then how can we expect to go some foriegn countries with out VISA
  • A comment on Talk: Conrad Wolfram: Teaching kids real math with computers

Jun 5 2011: Most of the people forget the basic idea of mathamatics while teaching - It should be linked with a real life problem , then do the mathamatical modelling , computation and the bring back the answer of the computation to the real world to intrepret the answer . Here mathamatics is taught as a computation and apart from the basic mathematic there is no importance for the whole computation process rather we can use the computers to do the computation. The modelling and the interpretation is more important than the computation . I think Conrad Wolfram has succeeded in bringing out this point

Dec 18 2010: This is the only way to show that , it is possible to do and change the customs in India and not to take it otherwise . Personalities like Kiran are the leaders who are courages enough to show that , a lot of things can be done even in India . we are still remembering the formar Election commissioner TN Sheshan who has done remerkably well in his role (none others !)which would enlighten the young generation to follow.
