What do you think should be the strategy to make every human a citizen scientist?
By inspiring creativity in young age. As we all know, childred are unbeliavably creative and curious. However, as they grow older, they tend to become less inspired to create. Obviously, something goes wrong during their early school years. But I believe that if we allow them to be playful and explore the world with the teacher's help instead of being forced to listen to the "only right solution", if students are encouraged to discuss issues and experiment with their learning, way more people would become creative thinkers and inventors.

Steven Johnson: Where good ideas come from
I second that. Even though the situation is becoming better, I still feel it is hard to get together with others to discuss a solution to a particular problem. And from my own experience, even if you find people willing to discuss it, most of them are too critical or closed to new ideas. The internet indeed provides a great opportunity to connect people worldwide in order to come up with answers to these issues.
