I'm passionate about

making difference .. I don't want my life to be same to my death.

An idea worth spreading

if each person in the world pay small amount of money for another poor person at the end of every week, i think there will be no poor people by the end of one year.

Talk to me about

anything

People don't know that I'm good at

singing and playing violin

  • A comment on Conversation: Is there anything more important for humanity, and its long term survival, than knowing the "truth"?

Feb 26 2011: that depends on the truth. of course I'm talking in general cuz personally i wouldn't like anyone to lie to me, even if it's for my own good. I just feel my brain abilities of accepting the truth underestimated .

however, we can't tell the children the truth about making babies. and there are many places in which we can't tell the FULL truth . so we go on with the proverb saying "the less you know the better it is" .

yes , if you think deeply, maybe there are many stuffs we don't need to know the truth about. like what's down there deep in the earth, what is there in the space, or what does a bee body consist of . I mean of course it may help some of us in a way or another, but for most of us we can live easily without knowing the truth .

however, this desire to know everything is born with humans . we just love to know everything, hungry for knowledge and widening our brain capacity. it's just how we are created I guess.
    which isn't a bad idea i think :)
  • A comment on Conversation: How can we create a new relationship with death?

Feb 26 2011: I believe this topic is related to religions and philosophies of life.

some may believe death is a transit way to other life, while some may not . personally and as my religion (Islam) taught me and as logic and life process suggests, I believe that we are not created randomly and for nothing. there must be punishments and awards, which are in the other life of course, cuz we see that it's impossible to apply the perfect fair judgement here in this life, and many people live without offering the world anything good, but at the contrary, they only cause of crimes and wars. and those people may die with no punishment. So there MUST be sometime they get punished in for what they have done; in which what is called "the judgment day".

therefore, if someone does good deeds, offers good opportunities for a better life, helps other human kinds. I don't think this person may fear of death cuz he knows he will be awarded for what he has done.

however, and as I said, some people may not believe in other life or judgment day . so I think there must be some fear here, at least from the unknown waiting for them after death.

thanks for bringing this topic up.

A comment on Conversation: More Music in Schools?

Feb 26 2011: yes I agree with you too. Music plays a very big role in educating the taste of humans. it helps concentrating, having a good mood, beside of relaxing in the storm of brain working in math and languages.
in addition to raising our personalities away from noise and rushing life.
thanks you for bringing this up

A reply on Conversation: what makes you special ??

Feb 22 2011: I guess you are right about that .. I also think that everyone is unique in abilities, talents, gifts....
but the problem is they haven't discovered it yet .. I mean the owner themselves haven't discovered their abilities yet. otherwise they would use it , no? ;)
and as you know, when something is not used it fades away slowly until it disappears , same to talents and gifts .. if we don't use them, they disappear .

A reply on Conversation: what makes you special ??

Feb 22 2011: mmm.. I don't think everyone is special in this world . some of us are just a number, just someone who follows what others do .. which is a huge number in societies .. those people I call "passive followers" . people who do not add anything by their existence , nor remove anything by their expiration .

A reply on Conversation: what makes you special ??

Feb 22 2011: "What am I?" it always pushes you to discover more about yourself , to extend your limits and find out new things ..
    good point , thanks .
  • A comment on Conversation: Can you live a happier life with less stuff?

Feb 17 2011: that reminds me with the movie "up in the air" by "George Cloney" :)

mmm.. personally I can't live with less stuffs in my bag , simply cuz i can't accept that .
however, I don't think it's the amount of stuffs you are carrying is what's playing role in your happiness or sadness .. I believe it's the way you are scheduling your life using those stuffs or trying to accomplish some of them..

if you put priorities and work on them slowly and one by one , you will not feel any need to minimize any of your stuffs , cuz this process or making priorities will help satisfying your greed to success and will help you raise up slowly.

A comment on Conversation: How important is Religion?

Feb 16 2011: I agree it's a really important question to bring up in a forum. I'm an active person in many forums, but when religion comes up you see arguments and challenges and sometimes fights.
i think that is for two reasons : a- the one who participates just attacks and insults the others' beliefs . b- people who are very attached to there beliefs get defensive and considers it as a live or death battle .

I think the right way for such discussion is as you just said " philosophical and theological must come to the table without the goal of trying to convert everyone but instead with the goal of learning from everyone they hear from and the scientific and unbelieving must recognize the people they talk with are humans with logical brains and that there maybe some merit in faith that they have yet to have recognized. "

and personally as a Muslim I participate in such forums and topics and I try to change what bad things people think about Islam like (terrorism, ignorance, backward.. etc ) and if someone attacks or try to insult me i just quit the conv without defending back cuz I know that it's not my job to convert anybody.and I believe in freedom and that there is a logical brain everyone has that will lead him to the truth which he is responsible of.

and really, thanks for bringing this issue up .. many wouldn't do it
  • A comment on Conversation: Parents should have no say in how their children are raised.

Feb 16 2011: first of all , family is the main atom of the community. actually it's a small community itself.
ok I got a question for you . Do you think by following you idea, then will there be any development or raising in any community?? if its individuals are just copies of each others (since you are thinking of raising the kids same way) , yea i know every kid has his own personality , but do you think this personality will not fade after this huge attempt to fuse this person with a community he didn't pick in the first place ??
plus, here we go back to the first point, the kid hasn't picked his community either so it's not more fair to get him raised by his community rather than his family.

and I will quote a sentence from my Kris here as she says :
"If you are referring to parents who are given the freedom to do truly harmful things to their children in the name of choice, then I'm with you".
