I'm a self-taught composer from Minnesota whose done a bit of traveling, and is interested marketing and entrepreneurship, not just for my own sake, but to see what I can do for others.
Music, creative expression and how it can change the world!
It's important to redefine what the relationship between creativity and business is. Usually, it's one above the other? Why not have have profit as well as passion?
Anything. We can probably find something to chat about.
Creating something in a short period of time. Sometimes pressure is good for me. Drawing things out, not so much.
I'm an auto-didact, a $20 word for self-teaching. I had a bit of piano lessons growing up, but don't have a formal music background. While some may call me unrefined, this rawness has served me well. TED inspires me everyday day to Create Something Awesome. What are you creating?

A comment on Conversation: We are in a Creative Depression. What follows is an audio record touching on this idea, and asking us: "What will we tell our children?"

A comment on Conversation: Why evolution could never solve aging?
Our component parts feed life, most of us pass on our genes, and everything we do affects the world around us.
Wouldn't evolution, if it selected for longevity/immortality limit the number of organism which are immortal?
Would the immortals control their own population, ala Highlander?
A comment on Conversation: How do we make what works well popular?
Sometimes the best thing to do, when all else fails is to walk away or try something different until you find something that does work.
Life is one grand improvisational session.
A comment on Conversation: How do we make what works well popular?
It most certainly is fear and anxiety, and sometimes doing something differently causes people to question their beliefs, and even themselves, which can be very uncomfortable.
If you could find a way to demonstrate the potential benefits from "doing what works" and the costs of doing it the "right" way, that's a step in the right direction.
Ultimately, there is no certainty in life. It's more important to connect with others and do what you value.
If you fail, you won't have to live with regret.
You tried.

A comment on Conversation: College Education cost should be caped, because some of the tuitions nowadays are crazy.
Stop selling college as the solution to all of life's problems.
Encourage creativity and entrepreneurship.
Encourage businesses and people to grow.
I want my doctor to go to med school but I could care less if the guy who programmed my favorite iPhone game went to Stanford or just coded it in his mom's basement.
