I belive that we are all connected on a molecular level and that as soon as we realize we are One.... we´ll be able to look outwards and take the next step in human exploration.

The internet is the thing that will make this possible, as soon as all races/religions/countries have mixed and merged enough, there will be no major differences for people to fight over and we will unify our resources and efforts to looking outwards and colonizing new planets.

  Dec 9 2010: I´m sure they actually do gamble with their/our money, there are such things as deravatives, Futures contracts and other less known types of contracts that are in fact, gambles. They enter into such contracts and try to guess how they will finalize, with loss or gain.
  
  Guesswork is educated but in the end, a fire in an oil refinery in norway might raise the price of crude oil for a week, thus adding an infinately random element to all such contracts.
  
  I think thats what we define as gambling :)
