My TED Story

[ under construction / revamping ]

From my early years at the University, I was deeply engaged in encouraging myself and others to strive to be innovative and experiment with imagination & creativity!
Being deeply involved in activism and open-minded concepts, a bunch of fellow students and I started an initiative on our university (University of the Aegean) that is placed in 6 different islands of the Aegean Sea. We had one small idea at first: "to connect all our fellow-colleagues into fruitful means of interaction". At first, we had to see how we can all act and participate into a "place" where would feel as students of the same University. This kind of awareness was very limited, as at these times, people from one island (univ. unit / campus) used to feel separated from each other..

Since 2003, a web community & team named "MyAegean" took off, bridging people inside and outside of our university..
Recently, I somehow got into TED, extending my thirst for inspiration! :)
