Mar 13 2011: Specialization is vital in today's global economy--in time when unemployment runs rampant--it is imperative that human resource representatives hire the person(s) whom are truly best qualified for a position. In turn, this will increase the need for the improvement of our (American) education system--at the elementary level, all the way up through higher education institutions.
Oct 5 2010: RU serious? aggregate demand useless? that is like saying Price does not matter either. the interest rates are where they are because the Fed needs to make it make it easier (quantative) so that the banks can afford to lend--however, expect those to rise slightly soon, as we have seen a slight increase in GDP. Furthermore, the global recession has rebounded a bit with other countries growing at a higher rate.
Oct 5 2010: did anyone notice that the host shook his head in disbelief at the very end? unbelievable. Economic Development is key, however, without proper policies being produced and actually implemented, nothing will change.
